On 23rd May 2024, the Callum L Gamble team, Callum and Caren Launus-Gamble, were invited to do a talk and book signing session at Green Meadows Academy, a SEND-specialist school.
The audience were parents of autistic children. Callum and Caren held the talk together and discussed the following:
- Callum’s autism diagnosis and lived experience
- Caren’s lived experience as a parent
- Callum’s strengths and challenges
- Callum’s reason for writing the book
- Callum and Caren’s plans with the autism consultancy
After the talk, the team sold all but 3 books. Some parents got emotional during the Q&A session as they could resonate with the hardship that Caren went through in getting the diagnosis and support for Callum. They felt a sense of relief and the team were happy they could help.
